Munich, May 10, 2019 – Business law firm Gütt Olk Feldhaus advises ARCUS Capital on the financing of the acquisition of a majority stake in card maker sendmoments. The financing was provided by Deutsche Bank (senior financing) and Bayerische Beteiligungsgesellschaft (mezzanine financing).
sendmoments is one of the leaders in the market for online invitation cards and shows a double-digit growth in sales and earnings. In 2012, sendmoments started as an online shop for personalized printed matters. The range, which initially focused on cards, quickly expanded and now includes a wide selection of high-quality cards, photo articles, canvases, decoration and additional products, especially for special festive occasions such as weddings, christenings and birthdays.
ARCUS Capital AG is an independent private equity company that is located in Munich and was founded by entrepreneurs in 1994. The firm’s investment focus is on German-speaking medium-sized companies engaged in restructuring and growth phases. To date, ARCUS has successfully acquired several companies in various industries and stages of development.
Both the purchase price and the volume of the financing were agreed to be kept confidential.
