Admitted to the German bar as Rechtsanwalt in 2011.
Adrian von Prittwitz is a Corporate /M&A partner of GOF and advises his clients on all corporate law matters including capital markets law issues.
He has many years of broad experience in advising listed and privately held companies, financial investors and private clients on national and international M&A transactions and restructurings as well as ongoing corporate and capital markets law matters (including boardroom advice).
Adrian studied law at the universities of Bonn and Münster and holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Corporate and Securities Law from the London School of Economics and Political Sciences (LSE). He completed his legal traineeship at the Higher Regional Court of Hamburg with seats in Frankfurt (German Federal Financial Supervisory Authority - BaFin) and New York (Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer US LLP).
Prior to joining GOF Adrian worked with Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer LLP in Hamburg from 2011 until 2016.
In 2023, the business magazine WirtschaftsWoche recognized Adrian von Prittwitz as one of the most renowned lawyers in Germany in the categories of corporate law and M&A.
